JJ Arcega-Whiteside

Quarterback, K.J. Costello’s favorite target has been wide receiver, JJ Arcega-Whiteside. Whiteside has only 13 catches on the season but has made the most out of them, scoring five times and averaging just under 25 yards a reception, both of which rank top ten in the nation. Just like the guy throwing him the ball, Whiteside has started off the 2018 season red hot.

And for the Oregon Ducks, Whiteside has had their number in their last two meetings between one another. In his career against the Ducks, Whiteside has 10 receptions for 218 yards and three touchdowns.

This year shouldn’t be any different. Despite dominating their opponents in their first three games, Oregon has allowed a receiver in two of the three games to gain over 125 yards and catch two touchdowns. So if receivers from Bowling Green and Portland State can do that, imagine the numbers Whiteside can put up?
