Clemson football had no problem with Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers dismantled the Yellow Jackets. What’d we learn?

Was there every any doubt that Clemson would come out of Saturday’s game with a 4-0 record? Not really, but traveling to Atlanta to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets presents a tough matchup for most opponents, especially since they are known for running it down opponents’ throats.

Clemson’s unbeaten season continues as we are now a third of the way through and the Tigers are developing an identity on offense, especially now that Trevor Lawrence is separating himself in the quarterback battle from Kelly Bryant.

Not much went wrong for the Tigers on Saturday afternoon and Dabo Swinney heads into a Week 5 matchup with Syracuse with plenty of confidence and looking for revenge for last year’s upset at the Carrier Dome.

Clemson had its way with the Yellow Jackets, so what’d we learn?

3. Defensive line is getting stronger

Is this possible? Clemson’s defensive line is improving by the week, which is a scary thought for the rest of the ACC.

Georgia Tech was one of the best rushing teams in the country heading into the game and it’s what the Yellow Jackets have always been known for thanks to Paul Johnson, but they were unable to get anything going against this Tiger front.

Moreover, even though the quarterbacks didn’t sling the ball much, the Tigers finished with three sacks. Yes, the Tigers had three sacks and both TaQuon Marshall and Tobias Oliver combined for just eight attempts, completing three for 57 yards.

This defensive line just gets after it and makes life difficult on opposing quarterbacks and clearly rushing attacks. Not often do you see Georgia Tech held to 146 yards rushing.
