Dwayne Haskins is your Heisman Trophy front-runner

After posting a monster first half against the Greenwave, it should be safe to say that Dwayne Haskins will be at the top of the leaderboard for many of the major Heisman Trophy power rankings.

Haskins finished the first half 21 for 24 with 304 yards passing and five touchdowns. He didn’t throw an interception and picked apart the Tulane secondary while making a number of throws downfield.

For the season he has 16 touchdown passes and will look to continue his streak of multi-touchdown games against the Nittany Lions. Looking at the Ohio State schedule this will be their toughest test of the season, and with Penn State giving up just 173 yards per game through the air, a great performance by Haskins will be needed to ensure a victory.

Is Haskins the best player in the country? He is certainly playing that way and it doesn’t look like he will slow down any time soon.
