In a meeting of Pac-12 football favorites this past weekend, Stanford took advantage of Oregon’s mistakes to remain unbeaten.

The Cardinal didn’t really deserve to win the game in Eugene, but as David Shaw has done time and time again, he found a way for Stanford to come out on top.

After four weeks of the season, the Cardinal are just one of three unbeatens left standing in the league, and are one of just two teams with Washington to be 2-0.

Stanford has now topped both Oregon and USC in league meetings, which should give them plenty of confidence moving forward into an out-of-conference matchup with fellow Top-10 Notre Dame in South Bend this weekend.

Washington also dips out of league play as they host BYU in another ranked matchup.

We’ll also find out if California is a real player in the Pac-12 as the Golden Bears host the Ducks, who will be out of redemption after the loss to Stanford.

Other Week 5 league games include UCLA at Colorado, Oregon State at Arizona State, Utah at Washington State, USC at Arizona and UCLA at Colorado on Friday night.

It was a pretty uneventful week in the conference recently, as just four games took place. All four, though, were league battles, so we did experience some change in the rankings.

Here’s a look at the latest Pac-12 power rankings:
