Is there a quarterback controversy for the Hurricanes? N’Kosi Perry came off the bench and provided a spark for the offense as he threw three touchdown passes and led Miami to victory over FIU. The Hurricanes face North Carolina in the Thursday night game and will look to continue their winning streak after losing to LSU during Week 1.

A bold prediction was made before the season started that Trevor Lawrence would take over for Kelly Bryant at some point during the season. Regardless of their record, we knew that it was only a matter of time before he took the reins and led this offense down the stretch. He looked great in the win against Georgia Tech throwing four touchdown passes.

It will be a battle of two dynamic quarterbacks as Syracuse and Eric Dungey come to town. Will Syracuse put up 50-plus in this game? I don’t think so but I don’t expect Syracuse to just lay down and die. This is a team that can be a legitimate threat to Clemson at the top of the conference and if they pull off the upset it will have major ramifications for the College Football Playoff.
