1. N’Kosi Perry throws five touchdown passes

Raise your hand if you’re still skeptical about Mark Richt going from Malik Rosier to N’Kosi Perry. Now that no one has raised their hand, we can talk about the ceiling of the Hurricanes with the talented freshman under center.

The ceiling with Rosier under center was probably 8-9 wins. The ceiling with Perry is now 10-11 wins. This team could take care of business from this point on thanks to the star freshman and no one would be all that surprised. He’s making Richt look silly for starting the season with Rosier.

In two games, Perry has thrown for 317 yards and six touchdowns with two picks and a 67 percent completion rate. That may not seem all too impressive, but he has zero starts on the season and will be getting his first against North Carolina.

There’s no doubt the offense runs smoother with Perry under center and it’ll do just that on Thursday night as he tosses five touchdown passes to reach 11 on the young season with just one start under his belt. Oh yeah, and the Hurricanes will cover the 18-point spread.
