Saturday 12:00-3:00

Army at Buffalo, 12:00 p.m. EST, CBSSN

Looking for the underrated game in this time slot, and maybe in the whole day? Look no further. Buffalo may be the favorite in the MAC, they just throttled Rutgers, and they have an outstanding receiver-quarterback duo in Anthony Johnson and Tyree Jackson. Army is fresh off nearly beating Oklahoma and is nothing if not good at creating close games.

One sentence sell: This is an easy sell, because this is an awesome game, and could easily be the best game of the whole day.

West Virginia at Texas Tech, 12:00 p.m. EST, ESPN2

For the more conventional college football fan, this is a great noon option, and while I’m not sure how confident I am, it could be a serious banger. It’s a top 25 matchup, between two teams that like to score a lot of points, have no problem launching the ball around, and can view defense as optional at times. I’m not as in on Texas Tech as others (I’ve been tricked before and won’t be again), but this could be a really fun game.

One sentence sell: One week after beating Oklahoma State, this will be a great test for Texas Tech, and it’s the first real test for West Virginia.
