The struggle is real on Rocky Top and the direct opposite is true in Athens. As Georgia football preps to welcome the Vols, let’s get bold, ladies and gentlemen.
To say that Tennessee isn’t having the season they wanted to have is the understatement of the century. Sitting at 2-2 and looking down a seemingly impossible stretch, the Volunteers aren’t exactly in the best of places in 2018.
New head coach Jeremy Pruitt seems to have bitten off more than he can chew with this one and as a result, Tennessee is a sinking ship. What they have dubbed “rebuilding” is almost painful to watch.
Georgia, on the other hand, is a well-oiled machine, seemingly rolling through everything in its path and Saturday’s contest against the Volunteers shouldn’t be much different. Kirby Smart learned from the best and it’s paying off as the Bulldogs are uneaten and looking like true playoff contenders yet again.
On that note, let’s start with the bold predictions.
3. This is an easy win for Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs and the Tennessee Volunteers, a game that used to be a big deal for the SEC East. However, now it is the fight of a the top of the division against the bottom. Now, that isn’t something I’d thought I’d be saying for this matchup, but here we are.
Tennessee has fallen quite a bit — the Volunteers just aren’t what they used to be. With Jeremy Pruitt in town, that may change, but not this year.
My first bold prediction is basically that if you are a fan of the Orange and White, this may be the time to stop reading this one now. This is going to be an easy win for the Bulldogs and an ugly loss for the Volunteers. In the SEC East, it really is Georgia’s world and we are all just living in it.
