Texas A&M Football: 3 bold predictions for Arkansas rivalry in Week 5
By Shelbie Warr
1. This one won’t need overtime, ends in blowout
If there is anything that the Southwest Classic is known for, it’s overtime. This game has given both sets of fans heart attacks year in and year out. It is score after score, stop after stop, penalty after penalty. It has yet to really be an easy victory for the entirety of a matchup. However, that changes on Saturday afternoon live from Jerry World.
The Razorbacks have yet to really figure out their offense and what they are truly capable of doing. They haven’t been consistent in any sense of the word and that will be their downfall in this one. Arkansas doesn’t have what they need to compete in the SEC this season and that will be shown this weekend and for the rest of the season.
On the other side, the Aggies are seasoned after playing Clemson and Alabama in the first four weeks of the season. They know what the best of the best in college football looks like and as a result, Arkansas is nothing but a bump in the road for Jimbo Fisher and his team.
My bold prediction? This game won’t go to overtime. It won’t even give you much of a heart attack. This one has Aggie shut out written all over it.
