With Alabama football picking up steam, the Crimson Tide will host Louisiana in Week 5. Just how much will the Tide win by this time?
Just when you thought Alabama couldn’t get any better, the Crimson Tide and head coach Nick Saban stumble across a talented quarterback who could arguably be the best passer in college football. Jalen Hurts was solid for two years, but Tua Tagovailoa is the definition of elite.
The Crimson Tide have been dismantling opponents this season. Fresh off a 22-point win over a resurgent Texas A&M team, the Tide are shifting gears toward Louisiana. The Ragin’ Cajuns may think they’re ready for this one but everyone does until the Tide rip them to shreds.
Alabama’s going to win, but by just how much?
3. Najee Harris rushes for 150 yards
Why isn’t anyone talking about Najee Harris this season? The former blue-chip recruit has rushed for 246 yards and three touchdowns with a 6.5 yards per carry average. His numbers are one or two games away from surpassing his entire freshman season figures.
The sophomore will break all his previous career-highs with a 150-plus yard game against Louisiana in Week 5 and he’ll finish with a 6.8 yards per carry average. Yes, he’s finally going to get more than 8-9 touches per game.
The Tide don’t like to use primarily one back, especially since they have so many capable rushers, but Saturday is going to be heavily Najee.
Nick Saban will realize this kid needs to touch the ball more and it all starts with his best game of the season and potentially the most impressive performance of his career.
