2. Trevor Lawrence struggles in first start since Kelly Bryant news

Stress levels could be at an all-time high for Trevor Lawrence and the Clemson offense after learning that Kelly Bryant would be transferring.

Instead of sticking it out for the rest of the year and supporting his understudy, Bryant decided to make it public that he no longer intended to play for the program he spent four years at. He would be looking for a new school and that search would start immediately.

Lawrence will find that taking over for a quarterback who has left the program instead of showing support is not an easy task. Plus, that quarterback led the Tigers to a playoff last season and the pressure of being compared to Bryant will get to him right away, but he’ll settle in down the line.

The star freshman will have a rough first game under center for the Tigers which means he’ll have so-so accuracy with an interception or two and maybe 1-2 touchdowns. It’ll be an underwhelming start for Lawrence and, as you can imagine, some fans will be in panic mode.

Don’t fret, Clemson fans, Lawrence will be just fine.
