One of these teams is at the top of the SEC. The other is struggling to stay afloat. This should be an interesting Tennessee vs. Georgia football game.
The Georgia Bulldogs, lead by sophomore quarterback Jake Fromm, are riding high. They seem to be the only team that could hold a candle to Alabama and maybe even beat them in either the SEC Championship or in the one for all the marbles.
This Georgia offense, who many thought was going to struggle a bit due to the amount they lost due to the NFL Draft, hasn’t missed a beat. The defense has been everything this team needs and then some. Right now, the SEC East is Georgia’s world and the rest of the division just exists.
On the other side, you have the Tennessee Volunteers. The struggle is real on Rocky Top y’all. This team, under new head coach Jeremy Pruitt, hasn’t exactly lived up to the hype. The defense can’t make crucial stops. The offense is great at turning the ball over and there really isn’t anything special about the special teams for the Orange and White.
If you are a fan of the Bulldogs or just really like to watch Tennessee lose epically, here is how you can watch the matchup.

Keys to Victory
For Tennessee, they really have to do what no one has been able to do and that is to shut down the Georgia Bulldogs in all sense of the phrase. They need to be able to shut down the running game, protect their own quarterback and overall play a better game than a team who is a heavy favorite to make a return trip to the national title game. You think it can happen? Yeah, me neither.
For Georgia, this one will be about playing their game for four quarters. They are the easy favorite in this one and I wouldn’t be surprised if they have the ability to shut out the Volunteers. However, this one will be about how they prepared for the matchup. Did they work their tails off like they would for a team that is on the same level as them or did they treat this like some tiny school that will be an easy win for them.
While this should be an easy win for the Bulldogs, the way you treat an opponent should be the same every week no matter what and I can promise you that head coach Kirby Smart knows that.
Prediction
If I haven’t made it clear enough, this one is Georgia’s game to lose. Tennessee really can’t hold a candle to what Kirby Smart has been able to build at Georgia. Does that came from what Smart has learned from Nick Saban? Partly. However, a big part of that is just how much the Bulldogs have bought into Smart’s mentality and game plans. You can’t say the same about Tennessee and Jeremy Pruitt just yet and that is why this one is going to be all Georgia from the first snap to the last.
Final Score: Georgia 49, Tennessee 10
