2. Donovan Peoples-Jones has another punt return TD

As a receiver, Donovan Peoples-Jones is growing into a star-like role. He’s been getting better each week and he’s developing a strong connection with Shea Patterson. As a punt returner, the same can be said as he’s coming off his first punt return touchdown of the year.

Peoples-Jones took off against Nebraska, bringing a punt 60 yards to the house. The sophomore had a return touchdown last season but it’s clear his confidence is growing.

For the second straight game, Peoples-Jones will take a punt back for a touchdown, jolting some life into the Wolverines in a crucial road game. Michigan will need some energy like this from sources other than the defense, and Peoples-Jones’ return score could be the nail in the Wildcats’ coffin.

Michigan has itself one of the best return men in the Big Ten and he makes it look relatively easy. He’s fast, but doesn’t having blazing speed and he’s shifty enough to find the creases on his way to big returns. Peoples-Jones will also have a decent game catching the ball.
