Houston. Ed Oliver. 1. player. 16. . DT

The defensive tackle from the University of Houston causes an absolute trainwreck in the middle nearly every play of the game. The 6-foot-3, 292-pound junior is creating the most noise regarding a defensive tackle since Ndamukong Suh.

As a freshman, Ed Oliver earned 65 tackles with just over one-third of those tackles being for loss. In the 2017 season, Oliver totaled 73 tackles, with 16.5 of them for a loss of yard. Additionally, Oliver accounted for 5.0 and 5.5 sacks in each season respectively. This year, he has been just as impressive, if not more.

The Buffalo Bills need help in pretty much every area of their team. Last year, the Bills selected quarterback Josh Allen with their first draft pick, as a quarterback was absolutely necessary for their team. This year, Buffalo will likely take the best player available, which happens to be Oliver.

Oliver’s athleticism, despite his size, is what will carry him throughout his NFL career. Buffalo needs someone to step in right away and play. Oliver will be able to do that without issue.
