2019 NFL Mock Draft: Projecting the first round after Week 5
This is approximately where the Raiders will make their second, first round pick that they received from the Chicago Bears in the Khalil Mack trade. On offense, the Raiders are pretty well set up, with Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, and Jared Cook. It is possible they look at a running back, like Bryce Love from Stanford, but the chances they do that are relatively low. Therefore, they will likely take the same approach as they did with their first pick earlier in the round. Defensive playmakers are a must for Oakland.
Remember when we compared Josh Allen to Devin White? Well now is the time Josh Allen, from Kentucky, will have a good chance at being selected in this year’s upcoming draft. Allen has the potential to play either inside or outside linebacker. From your inside linebackers, you want leadership and passion. The Raiders would get both of those things from Allen.
Allen is an exciting player who fits the tough, mean mold of a stereotypical Oakland Raider.
