Wide Receivers: B

Juwan Johnson may have made the catch of the year, and K.J. Hamler had a 93-yard touchdown where he simply outran the Ohio State secondary. Also, Pat Freirmuth had a very impressive touchdown reception where he caught the ball despite defensive pass interference.

Still, their receivers disappointed in many areas for how talented of a group they are. Johnson dropped multiple passes that were easier than his one-handed grab. There were multiple catchable passes that Penn State did not come down with throughout the game.

Offensive Line: B-

Multiple plays were blown up in the backfield, but 492 yards of offense would not be possible without good play from the offensive line. Still, they allowed four sacks and 11 tackles for loss.

Even though Ohio State did not have Nick Bosa, they could not slow down guys like Chase Young, who finished the game with six tackles, two sacks, and three tackles for loss. They got worn down as the game progressed and could have made the slightest difference needed to win the game had they made a few more blocks.
