Weak Schedule So Far

Now, it’s not really the Georgia Bulldog’s fault that they haven’t played anyone tough yet, but they just haven’t. Georgia’s lack of quality wins brings them down to number three in the projections. The only team they have played that was in the top 25 at the time of the game was South Carolina who was number 24. However now, South Carolina is out of the top 25 and is 2-2 on the season.

In Week 5, the Bulldogs played host to the Tennessee Volunteers. The game went, just as you’d expect, with Georgia dominating the entire game. By halftime, Georgia was winning 17-0 and wasn’t even playing as good as they could have been.

What makes Georgia good, and is the reason why Clemson fell out of the projected top 4, is that they have two quarterbacks who can step in and play without issues. Backup quarterback, Justin Fields, saw enough playing time in real minutes this game that will keep him ready to go, should anything happen to Jake Fromm.

Next week Georgia plays Vanderbilt at home, which should be another easy win.
