3. Isaac Nauta’s role finally grows

For years now, Isaac Nauta was expected to take that next step and become one of college football’s best tight ends. He was a five-star recruit out of high school and was the No. 1 tight end in the 2016 class. He had an instant impact, catching 29 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns, but the Bulldogs have failed to utilize him enough since.

In fact, his numbers dipped dramatically in 2017 with just nine receptions for 114 yards and two touchdowns and he has just eight catches for 89 yards and a score this year.

October will solve some problems on the offense when it comes to the star tight end.

Nauta will have one of his best months yet, catching 10 passes for over 100 yards with a couple of touchdowns mixed in. He’s going to need to be a focal point for the Bulldogs moving forward and that’ll finally be the case.

It’s time to stop wasting the talent of one of the nation’s premier tight ends.
