Big Win Over the Spartans

The Penn State Nittany Lions first game back from their bye week is at home against the Michigan State Spartans. The Spartans were picked by many to finish ahead of Penn State in the Big Ten, but after a rough opening month, Michigan State enters this game as the underdog.

The Spartans are 3-1 and have either gotten off to a slow start, finish the game bad or both. And with a Penn State team looking to let off some steam, the Spartans will have their hands full on Oct. 13.

Penn State’s offense, led by Trace McSorley, will have a monster game. McSorley will continue his streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass, as he throws for three scores in the first half. But the passing game isn’t the only thing clicking for the Nittany Lions, as McSorley, along with running backs Miles Sanders and Ricky Slade, rush for over 250 yards as a team. Meanwhile on the defensive side of the ball, the Nittany Lions continue to show their improvement, forcing three turnovers in the game.

It’s a stripe out in Happy Valley, and the Nittany Lions win, 45-20.
