West Virginia football looks to keep it rolling against Kansas in Morgantown on Saturday. Is there any chance the Jayhawks can make them sweat it out?

West Virginia looked impressing in a 42-34 win over Texas Tech in week 5. The Mountaineers jumped out to a 35-7 lead in first have before letting off the gas and cruising to a victory. Look for a lot of the same this week against Kansas.

Heisman hopeful Will Grier had a good day against the Red Raiders throwing for 370 yards and three touchdowns. Marcus Simms had 9 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown. West Virginia has the chance to have a big day against the Kansas defense.

Kansas won two straight before losing two straight to conference opponents. Most recently Kansas was defeated by Oklahoma State 48-28. Kansas has shown flashes, Pooka Williams ran for 97 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Carter Stanley threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns.

The Kansas defense has its work cut out for it against West Virginia. After having successful outings versus Central Michigan and Rutgers has had a rougher time when facing Big 12 opponents.

Here is how you can watch Saturday’s West Virginia game versus Kansas.

Keys to Victory

Honestly, Kansas doesn’t have much of a chance here. Next to Oklahoma, West Virginia has been the class of the Big 12. West Virginia’s offense has been playing at an extremely high level and will continue to do so against Kansas.

In order for Kansas to stay competitive in the game they will need to build on offensive gains that made last week. Kansas will need to take advantage of any opportunities given and get Pooka Williams going early to not get too far behind in first half.
