1. Has Florida talked more trash than it can back up?

The center of attention this season has been the Florida WR, who also transferred from Ohio State. While Burrow has shown that he has every ability to stand toe to toe with the rest of the SEC, Florida gator wide out Trevon Grimes has quite a bit to say about the graduate transfer Tiger quarterback.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do against our defense and if he can make those plays, but I’m sure he won’t be able to,” Grimes said, according to a report from 247Sports. Grimes went on to say he’s not worried about his team’s defense because they go up against “a better quarterback” in practice every day.

That is some big talk when you are hosting the No. 5 team in the nation in the LSU Tigers. Yes, the Florida defense was able to shut down Nick Fitzgerald and company. However, this is a completely different fight when you are taking on this surging LSU team.

Simply put, it may be that the Gators — especially Grimes — has talked too much trash and may not even be able to back it up. He isn’t even talking about himself either, he is putting his faith in a completely different unit and hoping that they can help him put money where his mouth is. For the Gators, this seems like an uphill climb already, but that is just me.
