3. Horned Frogs need late comeback to beat Kansas

I know how crazy this sounds, but Kansas has actually been slightly better than a dumpster fire this season, winning two games through the first five weeks against Central Michigan and Rutgers — and both by double-digits.

The Jayhawks did lose their opener to Nicholls State by three points but hung tough against Oklahoma State before losing by 20.

Kansas will gain some confidence through the month of October and play the Horned Frogs especially tough in Lawrence. How tough? The Jayhawks will actually hold the lead for most of the game, forcing TCU to make a late second-half rally to come back and steal a win in Lawrence.

TCU will need a strong passing effort from Shawn Robinson late to avoid a massive upset.

This goes to show that Kansas is heading from ‘no longer a layup’ to ‘maybe this team has some life, after all’. The Jayhawks will still fall and drop to 2-6 overall.
