2. Horned Frogs hold lead over Oklahoma — until fourth quarter

Hosting Oklahoma in a big late-October battle for Big 12 positioning, the Horned Frogs will have an opportunity to take control of the conference standings, or at least put a stranglehold on second place, with a win over the Sooners.

Things will be looking up for the Horned Frogs for most of the Oct. 20 matchup against the Sooners and it’ll look like an upset is in order — until the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma will struggle early on as the run game will fail to get off the ground and the Horned Frogs will play some impressive defense in the secondary. That’ll force the Sooners into a plethora of three-and-outs — something they’re not used to.

Unfortunately for the Horned Frogs, the Sooners will figure it out in the second half and come from behind to take down TCU at home.

Ever watch a huge win slip through a team’s fingers? You’ll see it on Oct. 20.
