1. The Wildcats cannot simply rely on Benny Snell to win this game.

So far this season, Kentucky has relied on running back Benny Snell to win games for them. He has been explosive from the first snap of the season and truly hasn’t looked back since then. However, it won’t be that easy against Texas A&M on Saturday night.

In terms of teams with strong defenses, the only team the Wildcats have played with one is Mississippi State and the Bulldogs have struggled so this season. Now, they play against one of the best rush defenses in the country in Texas A&M. The Aggie defensive line has done a great job at shutting down opponents on the ground and I can’t imagine that Kentucky will be much different.

Simply put, the Wildcats cannot just rely on Benny Snell to make this a win for the Blue and White. They will have to broaden their horizons in terms of offense and try to make some big-time pass plays instead of just rushing every other play hoping that Benny will hit a big hole and make a run for the end zone.

This game will be about who’s offense can be the most dynamic and make plays against stout defensive lines. For Kentucky, it’ll have to be more than Benny Snell.
