3. UCF should be ranked above Auburn

UCF remains undefeated and looks unstoppable. The American Athletic Conference power house continues to prove why their win over Auburn in the 2018 Peach Bowl was not a fluke. Additionally, Milton Mckenzie has shown why he is a better quarterback than Jarrett Stidham. The Knights have blown out every single one of their opponents this year.

This week, the Knights were beating SMU 21-3 in the first quarter alone. They finished the game by winning 48-20.

Before Week 6, the UCF Knights, at No. 12, were still ranked four spots below a one-loss Auburn team. This absolutely needs to change by Oct. 30 when the first official College Football Playoff rankings are published. The playoff committee suggests that previous ranking contributes to the next week’s ranking. Therefore, the initial ranking matters much more than one would expect.

The Knights have now won 18 games straight, including a win against their only game against an SEC opponent. If UCF played the Tigers this year, it would not be pretty, and the SEC would be thoroughly embarrassed.
