For several years now, the Big 12 football conference has become known as with wild offensive games and exceptional quarterback play.

That hasn’t changed this year with the likes of Will Grier, Kyler Murray and company leading the way.

Over the past weekend, many of key games in the league were determined by the play of the most important position on the field, including Iowa State’s upset of Oklahoma State, Texas’ thrilling comeback vs. Oklahoma and West Virginia’s ability to hold off Kansas.

Grier and Murray get a lot of of hype, and rightfully so, but Alan Bowman of Texas Tech, Taylor Cornelius from Oklahoma State, Sam Ehlinger of Texas, Charlie Brewer from Baylor and TCU’s Shawn Robinson have also shown the abilities to go off on any certain opposing defense.

And in Week 6, it was Iowa State freshman Brock Purdy leading the charge, and the Cyclones, to a win on the road over Oklahoma State.

With the majority of teams in the conference having played six games now, this marks a perfect chance to rank the quarterbacks based on their play. When teams have used multiple starting quarterbacks this year, the following ranking is based on the collective effort.
