After starting out his career at Florida, Will Grier has found himself a home with West Virginia.

Grier, who had a phenomenal season a year ago, opted to return to try and help lead the Mountaineers to a Big 12 title this season. And through five games, thanks to a weather cancellation, he has done just that.

West Virginia is a perfect 5-0 on the season as Grier has thrown for a conference-best 1,819 yards this year. He is also tied with Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray with 21 touchdown passes.

Grier is averaging almost 364 yards per game and completing 71.2 percent of his throws, numbers that also lead the league. He was far from perfect vs. Kansas this past week with three interceptions and a fumble, but completed 28-of-41 for 332 yards and four scores to lead the team to a victory.
