It’s been a trying season for Kansas State and long-time head coach Bill Snyder when it comes to the quarterback position.

The Wildcats have used both Skylar Thompson and Alex Delton this season, with Thompson being the one that nearly led them to a win over Baylor this past weekend.

Thompson took all the snaps, completing 15-of-26 for 149 yards with a touchdown. He added another 50 yards and a score on the ground, but did throw two picks in the game as Baylor won, 37-34.

For the season, Thompson has 750 yards and five touchdowns, with Delton throwing for 273 yards and a score. Thompson did look good vs. UT-San Antonio earlier this year, completing 13-of-18 passes for 213 and two touchdowns.
