Thankfully for Alan Bowman and Texas Tech, the Red Raiders had the week off after seeing their quarterback go to the hospital with a collapsed lung suffered vs. West Virginia last month.

Bowman is currently questionable for when Texas Tech returns, but the freshman has done nothing but impress since taking over in Week 1.

Entering into a tough situation vs. Ole Miss, Bowman completed 29-of-49 for 273 yards with a touchdown. He followed that up by leading the Red Raiders to three consecutive wins, including a triumph over Houston and a comeback vs. Oklahoma State.

He was injured in the loss to West Virginia, completing just 9-of-20 for 123 yards. For the year, Bowman has thrown for 1,680 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Bowman’s best game came in the 63-49 triumph vs. Houston, as he completed 43 of 59 for 605 yards with five touchdowns, no interceptions and just one sack taken.
