The Vanderbilt Commodores also remain in the same spot after Week 6 with a 41-13 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs. Since standing toe to toe with a now No. 5 Notre Dame team that I am still not convinced is any good, the Commodores haven’t done much of anything. They aren’t bad, they just aren’t very good.

This week, they will face off against No. 14 Florida fresh off an upset of LSU that knocked the Tigers out of the top-five in a hurry. I can’t say I see the Commodores putting up much of a fight in that one, but I said that about the Gators a week ago and look where we are.

Winning is great and all, but when everyone around you is playing within conference while you beat up on the likes of ULM you are bound to move down a spot no matter the score.

The 70-21 win for the Rebels showed us one thing, when facing off against  a team with a defense just as bad as theirs, the Rebels can put up big time offensive numbers. However, they play a team with a pulse on defense on Saturday in the Arkansas Razorbacks and if tradition holds- this one will not be fun for those in red and blue.
