Week 6 of college football included eight losses from Top 25 teams. Out of these games, we take a look at three of the worst losses from the weekend.

Week 6 took out a handful of undefeated teams. Most notably, Oklahoma, LSU, and Kentucky all added their first mark in the loss column. However none of these losses make our list for the worst ones of the week.

The Sooner’s loss isn’t that bad because they lost in their biggest game of the regular season to their rival, the Texas Longhorns. Additionally, Texas has been on fire, improving in every area of their game since the beginning of the season. A, 48-45 loss, from a field goal with less than 10 seconds on the clock is heartbreaking, but not the most surprising.

The LSU Tigers being defeated by Florida has a similar storyline. The Tigers lost, 19-27, to the Gators, who too have been continuously getting better as the year has progressed. LSU had to travel to Gainesville to play the Gators in The Swamp. Playing Florida in their home stadium in never an easy task.

Lastly, Kentucky earned a ranking at number 13 prior to Week 6 due to their undefeated record. However many, including myself, were skeptical of the true talent level of the Wildcats. Frankly, Kentucky was likely a little overrated, and Texas A&M is deserving of being in the Top 25. And of course, playing in College Station is so hard that Clemson almost lost there.

Of the three worst losses, two were identified by yours truly in my weekly Under-the-radar games. Let’s check them out.
