Arkansas football landed the No. 1 tight end in the 2019 recruiting class and legacy recruit Hudson Henry will have an instant impact.
Chad Morris hasn’t won an SEC game yet, but the first-year head coach is piecing together big victories on the recruiting trail, landing the nation’s No. 1 tight end in the 2019 class, Hudson Henry, on Thursday afternoon.
Sure, Morris had a leg up on the rest of the competition because Henry is a legacy recruit, but that didn’t mean he was exempt from putting in the work to recruit the four-star from Little Rock, Ark.
Henry posted a video on his Twitter account Thursday stating he was 100 percent committed to Arkansas and he helps make the Razorbacks’ 2019 class one of the best in school history.

The wins will come with time, but even though the Razorbacks are having a tough time on the field, they’re impressing just about everyone with their recruiting success. With the commitment of Henry, they have the No. 8 class in the SEC and No. 17 nationally for 2019.
Moreover, Henry is the type of player who can come in and contribute right away. He’s a guy who could start from day one and become the favorite target for whoever is starting under center.
Besides having strong hands and impressive route-running abilities, Henry has impressive concentration with the ball in the air and he just has a knack for finding the soft spot in opposing defenses.
Arkansas found a day one contributor for 2019 and he could give the offense a much-needed boost. Morris hasn’t won in the SEC, but he’s winning big off the field.
