2. Georgia isn’t national championship-ready — at all

Every SEC fan at the start of the season decided that Alabama and Georgia were going to be the top of the SEC. There was very little question about it and very little argument. Alabama has surely kept up their end of the deal, rolling over literally everyone who has lined up opposite of them this season. Georgia on the other hand, not so much.

So far this season, Georgia has sleepwalked through game after game. It hadn’t punished them yet, but today against LSU it did and it happened a big way. Jake Fromm struggled in a big way, finishing only 16-for-34. His team has several big turnovers that changed the game from the get go. His defense couldn’t shut down Joe Burrow and the LSU offense.

Basically, LSU played a better game in every aspect of the phrase and now Georgia is in dire need of a repeat SEC Championship to find their way back to the Playoff. As it stands right now, the Bulldogs are in a bad position with so many other teams surging and putting things together late in the season.
