2. Ohio State

Dwayne Haskins has led the Ohio State offense to an average of 46.3 points per game and a record of 7-0. In Week 7, the Buckeyes cruised to a 30-14 victory over the Minnesota Golden Gophers. However, Haskins did through the ball 44 times, highlighting a lack of running game by Ohio State.

Haskins is an incredible talent who should have the ball in his hands for the majority of the game. But Ohio State will need to continue to develop their run game in order to complete them as a team.

Ohio State’s schedule facilitates an undefeated season, and it will be on Urban Meyer to prepare his team appropriately. The Buckeyes face a 3-3 Purdue team before a bye week. Following the bye week, they will face a severely struggling and winless Nebraska team at home.  The Buckeyes will then travel to Michigan State, but they will like prepare slightly for the Spartans during the Nebraska week. Following Michigan State, they face a weak Maryland team, then host Michigan.

Ohio State could very well end up the No. 2 team assuming all goes well.
