Thursday night

Stanford at Arizona State, 9:00 p.m. EST, ESPN

The weekday games aren’t great this week (when are they ever), but this is a pretty solid option on Thursday night. Both teams are super confusing, and I could be talked into either one winning this game. Because of that, and because both play some pretty good defense, this should be worth watching.

One sentence sell: You might get to see Bryce Love (though probably not)!

Friday night

Yale at Penn, 7:00 p.m. EST, ESPNU

Friday night Ivy League football, a tradition unlike any other! In all seriousness, the Ivy League is super fun to watch, because just about every offense is innovative and exciting, and these two are no different. While I think Princeton is going to run away with the conference, both Yale and Penn are still contenders, and worth watching on Friday night.

One sentence sell: Yale quarterback Kurt Rawlings and Penn running back Karekin Brooks are both awesome and fun to watch.
