Well Tennessee, you pulled off what seemed like the impossible and are now officially out of the running for the bottom of the barrel in the SEC. That title belongs specifically to Arkansas now and it will likely stay that way as the season progresses.

However, all this excitement surrounding the Tennessee program may dissipate in a hurry as they are soon to be dismantled by Alabama live from Knoxville. They were able to knock out Auburn on the road, but knocking out Alabama anywhere seems next to impossible this season.

You may as well just take this L and move on Volunteers, that’s what everyone else has done so far this season.

Directly opposite of Ole Miss, the Commodores lost and still move up three spots to No. 9 this week in the Power Rankings. Reason being? Vanderbilt looked pretty strong against the Florida Gators, even though they did blow a late lead and lost by ten.

Simply put for the Commodores, near wins have pushed them into the top 10 of the Power Rankings. This week, they head to the Bluegrass State to take on a Kentucky team that is fresh off their bye week. That is either going to be a big-time win for this Vanderbilt program or they will be absolutely annihilated. I don’t see much of an in between happening here.
