1. Oklahoma wins by three scores
The line heading into this game is relatively tame. It’s hard to believe the Sooners are only eight-point favorites against a struggling TCU team, but Oklahoma is coming off a tough loss.
Despite that loss to Texas, the Sooners are one of the best teams in the country and a favorite to get to the Big 12 title game and contend for a spot in the College Football Playoff. If that’s going to happen, the Sooners must win games like these.
Oklahoma is going to cover the eight-point spread, and then some.
Why? The Sooners will be angry for the first time this season and even more motivated to bounce back. Losing to top rival Texas has to be infuriating, but the Sooners did look good at the end of the game in a huge comeback, so that will carry over into this one.
Moreover, the Sooners’ defense will do a solid job of making Shawn Robinson’s life miserable. Home-field advantage can only work so much before talent out-weighs a hostile environment.
