UCF football took care of business once again against taking down ECU in conference play. What can we learn from another big win by the Knights?

UCF got one step closer to its second straight American Conference title on Saturday as it easily chased down a 37-10 victory against ECU. It was a nice rebound game for the Knights, who narrowly survived a scare to extend its now 20-game winning streak last week against Memphis.

UCF trailed the Tigers by 13 heading into the locker room but the Knights responded by putting up 14 unanswered points in the second half to steal a win.

While UCF notched a win, it also got some help to gain a tad bit more separation at the top of the conference standings. Cincinnati not only lost its first game but also fell to another American Conference team — Temple.

One of the most exciting games from last season and an intriguing under-the-radar matchup that had yet to be played is the tilt between UCF and its in-state rival USF. Both are now in the top-25 and are still undefeated.

We’ll have to wait until the final game of the regular season to see those two teams square off but for now, here are three takeaways from UCF’s Saturday night win against ECU.
