Utah should find its way into the AP Top 25 this week after its third consecutive PAC-12 win following a two-game losing streak against the Washington schools.

Utah’s win over USC on Saturday night puts the Utes atop the PAC-12 South standings and means the road to the PAC-12 title runs through Salt Lake City.

Utah’s defense was dominant against the Trojans, holding them to just 205 total yards of offense. USC freshman quarterback J.T. Daniels was under pressure all evening, completing just 6-of-16 passing for 89 yards and a pair of interceptions.

There was a lot of optimism about Utah heading into the season, but a sluggish start to the season saw that optimism fade. Kyle Whittingham’s bunch has bounced back nicely over the last three weeks with some impressive wins.
