Offense has become all-important in today’s NFL, but defense reigns supreme in the latest 2019 NFL Mock Draft after Week 8 of the college football season.

NFL teams are looking for a way to slow down high-octane, score-at-will units around the league. The only way to do that is to build through the draft.

Defensive line might be the deepest position of the draft this year, with many top names like Nick Bosa, Ed Oliver and Clelin Ferrell expected to hear their name called early on April 25 from Nashville, Tennessee when the three-day event kicks off.

How about quarterbacks such as Justin Herbert, Drew Lock and Ryan Finley? Where will they take their next snaps at? And will any running back go in the first round?

This marks the 84th annual meeting of NFL franchises to select newly eligible players with 254 selections currently slotted over the seven rounds. The Philadelphia Eagles have the most picks with 11, while the Chicago Bears boast the fewest with four.

Both the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers have two first round picks to play with right now thanks to previous trades. So, who will your favorite team grab some April? Let’s dig in and find out with this first round mock draft:
