Saturday 12:00-3:00

Purdue at Michigan State, 12:00 p.m. EST, ESPN

Is Purdue any good? After their blowout victory over Ohio State, the general consensus is yes. Is Michigan State any good? After watching them all season, general consensus may be yes, but I have some differing, strong opinions about the Spartans. I think Michigan State is a bad team, pretending to be a good team, and unfortunately, they may continue the charade this week, because they’re pretty well suited to take away the things Purdue does best.

One sentence sell: The noon slate has two games worth watching, and well, this is one of them.

Texas Tech at Iowa State, 12:00 p.m. EST, ESPN2

Tech and Iowa State are both firmly in the top half of the Big 12, and this is essentially a battle to see which one gets to stay in the Big 12 title race. Two vastly different styles, and two very fun teams to watch. This should be awesome and could be much lower scoring than you may think.

One sentence sell: These are two good to very good games, and you’ll probably see a good game because of that.
