Saturday 7:00-10:00

Washington State at Stanford, 7:00 p.m. EST, Pac-12 Network

I was all ready to make this my game of the night to watch, but them I realized that it’s on the awful, cursed Pac-12 Network. I will never be able to legally watch this football game, and many of you are in the same place. This is a catastrophe, especially given that the rest of the prime time slate is just totally awful in every way.

One sentence sell: If you get the Pac-12 Network somehow, watch this game, if not, spend some time with loved ones, because the slate is only getting worse from here.

That is, unfortunately, the only game in this night-cap, both prime time and Pac-12 after dark, that I can recommend. Texas A&M-Mississippi State is completely meaningless and awful to watch, Navy-Notre Dame will be dumb but also awful, and the only late game worth talking about, Hawaii-Fresno State, is probably going to be a blowout.

Next. Picks for top CFB games of Week 9 against the spread. dark

This is the third time in four weeks that the late slate is extremely weak. I’m becoming concerned, and if this continues next week, we’ll have no choice but to stage an uprising against the NCAA.
