Kentucky football has something to prove after a narrow victory over Vanderbilt. Missouri is trying to show that they can play with the big guns. Who wins?

Neither of these teams have been particularly dominant, but still one is playing for the top spot in the East and the other is just looking for a win of any kind.

The biggest claim to fame right now for Missouri is the victory over Purdue now that the Boilermakers have knocked Ohio State off their high horse. Kentucky holds a victory over Florida who is playing the biggest game of the season this week against Georgia, a team that the Wildcats will have to face in a week’s time. However, that game won’t mean as much if the Wildcats can’t knock off Missouri first.

First, three bold predictions for the Wildcats tussel with the Tigers:

3. Terry Wilson gets his act together.

Terry Wilson hasn’t exactly been the quarterback of the year for the Kentucky Wildcats. “Terry Touchdown” as he has been affectionately called hasn’t been who everyone wanted him to be, but he has been enough to put the Wildcats in the center of the race for the East. They only have one loss, just as Florida and Georgia do. Now, however, it is in the hands of Terry Wilson to really get this one going and get the win for Kentucky.

My bold prediction? Wilson gets his act together so to speak and is able to carry his offense to where it needs to be to claim a victory live from Missouri’s home stadium.
