2. Drew Lock further proves that he isn’t the strong QB people think.

At the start of the season, everyone was high on Drew Lock, thinking that he could move mountains for an otherwise questionable Missouri program. That, however, isn’t how it has happened, not even close. Instead, Lock has struggled against stronger defenses so far this season and now they face a Wildcat defense has been extremely consistent in terms of pressuring the quarterback and getting off the field.

Simply put, there is a reason Kentucky is a one loss team and it sure isn’t Terry Wilson. No offense or anything Wildcat fans.

On the other side, Lock has been picked apart by Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama. While two of those aren’t surprising, the one in the middle is a bit sad in terms of the SEC East. The Gamecocks aren’t exactly the most talented team on the block in the SEC and they weren’t able to knock that one-off. How they plan to do so with Kentucky is beyond me.

My bold prediction? Kentucky finds a way to force quite a few turnovers that make this game a hard hole for Drew Lock to dig out of. Lock isn’t exactly the best of the best quarterbacks, but this game will show that he isn’t first or even second round material.
