Capital One Orange Bowl – Alabama Crimson Tide vs Michigan Wolverines

If you like defensive battles, then you’re going to love this matchup.

From the conference standings to our New Year’s Six Projections, Michigan as been slowly climbing up the ladder and have finally made the jump to the top. With their defense and running back Karan Higdon, this Wolverine football team is the best Jim Harbaugh has coached since he took over as head coach, and are a serious contender for a national championship this season.

The Alabama Crimson Tide did what they’ve done all season in Week 8: dominated. After their 58-21 win over Tennessee this past Saturday, the Tide go on their bye week in preparation for their biggest game of the season, a road game against conference rival, the LSU Tigers. The Tide will be the favorite but this game will be the ultimate test for the Tide and their season.
