Utah football went to Pasadena and took down UCLA at the Rose Bowl on Friday night. What did we learn from the #Pac12AfterDark win by the Utes in Week 9?
Utah has been hovering on the cusp of breaking into major Top 25 polls throughout the first half of the season. Thanks to a strong rushing performance, a versatile weapon on offense and special teams, and a disciplined performance, the Utes could break into the rankings list that matters most in modern college football.
On Friday night in Pasadena, Utah went on the road and took down the Bruins 41-10 in a #Pac12AfterDark mismatch. Both teams threw interceptions in the red zone, Utah faltering early and UCLA making the mistake in the fourth quarter.
It was the type of game that is custom-made to open the eyes of the power brokers who have a vote in the various polls. Specifically, Utah made a concerted effort to put their name on the radar of the College Football Playoff selection committee.
