3. Britain Covey was a difference-maker in multiple ways for Utah

Playmakers are always going to shift the storyline whenever they get the chance, and Utah had the best playmaker on the field on Friday night. Britain Covey, the high-school quarterback turned college receiver, did a little bit of everything for the Utes as they took down UCLA on Friday night.

Covey threw for a score to open the floodgates for the Utes, as he hit Cole Fotheringham for a seven-yard touchdown pass. The receiver put the ball where only the freshman tight end could climb the ladder to come down with the catch, showing he still has the touch of a quarterback.

When he was on the other end of the passes, Covey made his opportunities count. He caught five passes for 47 yards, and added a 19-yard carry for good measure. Covey also got the job done on special teams, racking up punt returns of 30 and 36 yards on the Bruins punt coverage team.
