Arizona thoroughly dismantled Oregon football in the desert, winning by four scores to knock the Ducks out of the polls. Here’s what we learned from the blowout.

When it comes to #Pac12AfterDark action, there is always sure to be an element of chaos. The game on tap for the Week 9 offering was no exception.

In recent years, Arizona has been a thorn in the side of the Ducks. Oregon lost two of their past three regular-season games against the Wildcats prior to the showdown on Saturday night in Tucson.

But last year the Ducks seemingly exorcized those demons in a 48-28 blowout at Autzen Stadium. The return matchup seemed ripe for getting Oregon to six wins and bowl eligibility, as the Wildcats had gone through a learning curve in Kevin Sumlin‘s first season as well as dealing with injuries to their biggest star.

Nothing ever goes quite that simply when it comes to nighttime Pac-12 games, though. Once again, Arizona sprung a surprise on the Ducks with a 44-15 rout. Taking down the No. 19 team in the nation, the Wildcats kept their fortunes trending upward while Oregon suffered a second straight loss.

What can we take away from this blowout in the desert? Here are three things we learned from the Pac-12 mismatch on Saturday evening in Arizona.
