For the fourth consecutive season, Clemson football heads into November right in the thick of national title contention.
The Tigers are unbeaten with four games remaining before a potential spot in the ACC title game. Last year, Clemson followed up a victory over Alabama for the national championship by returning to the College Football Playoff for a third time in a row.
Dabo Swinney made the difficult decision to replace senior quarterback Kelly Bryant with true freshman Trevor Lawrence at the end of September. And after suffering an injury vs. Syracuse in his first career start, Lawrence has looked phenomenal, including back-to-back 300-yard showings in wins over NC State and Florida State.
The Tigers have completely dominated their last three opponents, scoring 63, 41 and 59, while allowing just a total of 20 points in those games vs. Wake Forest, the Wolf Pack and the Seminoles.
Will that trend continue through dates with Louisville, Boston College, Duke and rival South Carolina? If they do, Clemson will have no trouble landing among the Top-4 in the College Football Playoff at the end of November.
