Thursday night

Temple at UCF, 7:30 p.m. EST, ESPN

The National Champs against a solid Temple team during the week? Sign me up. UCF should be able to win against a Temple team that’s still growing, but the Owls have been awesome recently, and will put up a fight. McKenzie Milton against this defense is a great matchup, and I’m super excited for this game.

One sentence sell: AAC games rarely disappoint, and this one will continue that trend.

MACtion, 7:00 p.m. EST, CBSSN/ESPNU

Okay, so you have two MACtion options on Thursday, and neither is good enough to get its own section, but both are good enough to at least mention. If you want great defense, watch NIU at Akron on CBSSN. If you want a shootout, watch Ohio at Western Michigan on ESPNU.

One sentence sell: Three of these four teams are either first or second in their respective division, and the fourth, Akron, has one of the best linebackers in the country in John Lako.

Friday night

Pitt at Virginia, 7:30 p.m. EST, ESPN2

ACC COASTAL DEATHMATCH, WINNER GETS SACRIFICED TO CLEMSON.

One sentence sell: YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.
